Conventional eCommerce supported by heavyweight help

E-commerce has boosted retailers' bottom line for decades, a trend that shows no sign of slowing down.  Stuart Gordon has long believed that investing in online retail keeps his business competitive, and the results (and nearly 30 years in the trade) bear that out.

Apache Menswear is traditional high street retail with a conventional online store. A suite of bespoke software for content, sales and customer relationship management powers the website.

Over the years, Stuart and his staff have worked more intelligently and efficiently by improving the most crucial points in their online store.  Piece-by-piece, since 2009 each update tailors the website to suit their needs more precisely.

The same approach applies to the web-design and aesthetics. Since 2009 we have refreshed the site design with new looks and seasonal aesthetics throughout the year.

Adding new online retail tech

By presenting options clearly and talking 'fluent human', we have added improvement after improvement to transform Apache's eCommerce. Making new retail technologies easy to understand has been key to our relationship, helping us add value to the website.

Systems like newsletter automation make it easy to distribute promotional emails to customers and link online discounts to brands and styles. An enquiry CRM system helps staff reply rapidly to customer questions. An order review CRM allows customers to provide feedback on their purchases and shopping experience. Ratings feed through to Google and appear as stars in organic search results. Testimonial highlights display throughout the website to shine a light on the best reviews and customer comments.

Taking online payments

Improvements to payment gateways have seen us introduce PayPal Payments Pro, Sagepay (originally 'protx', and now 'oPayo'), and most recently, Braintree. All provide secure and reliable payment processing, with Braintree providing next-generation pay-by-device functionality such as Apple Pay, Google Pay, Samsung Pay etc. These enhancements improve usability, raise conversion rates, and provide vital sales processing services.
